Early Alert Retention Survey
Many thanks go to the Advising Office and to each EKU faculty member who contributed to the success of the Early Alert Retention System this semester.
On Monday, September 5, the Early Alert survey was sent to all faculty teaching undergraduate courses. All colleges and departments participated in Early Alert, with 33 percent of faculty submitting an alert. A total of 1,179 alerts were submitted for 874 students (567 alerts for attendance; 612 for academic concerns). These students were informed by e-mail on Monday, September 12, that one or more faculty members had submitted an alert of the student's progress.
Retention data show that early notification can enhance student success.
